one more day...

One more day and I should be done...

I still need to add the eyes... maybe eyebrows... and the antennae...

Not feeling quite so bleargh about him today. I think that the addition of the mouth has made quite the difference. It never ceases to amaze me that such small things can add so much character.

Fingers crossed, I should have him finished by tomorrow!

  1. i have to say it's the touches you gave this little guy so far that make him so charming - the contrast stitching around the ankles, the wonky mouth... i would have skipped those details and not come up with nearly as captivating of a fellow!

  3. He's coming along great. Are you still going to use the star buttons you posted about earlier? I really like them but know that sometimes what I think will be great when I start a project does not always go.

  6. laurel - thank you... it's a shame that we are given specific instructions on how to knit or crochet, but not ever instructed on how to add those finishing touches, which really bring it all together
