it has to get worse before it gets better... I've dragged everything out of that disastrous craft room - and the room itself looks great, but the lounge and hallway are a bit of a disaster
This is like an Aladdin's cave! What treasures must be buried in that pile, I wonder! And look at all those boxes behind the suitcases! B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! A crafter's paradise! (I know I'm not helping but this is too tempting :)))
Sadly my crafting area looks like that ALL of the time much to the dispair of my long suffering husband. But the delight of uncovering a long lost treasure to craft with is such joy!! Make sure you don't tidy it too well - you might never find anything again :)
Ha ha you use the same method for tidying that I use! Except I've never managed finish one roome before another needs doing and the whole house is cluttered. Keep up the good work though, will there be more photos to prove it when you've finished?
yeah, I know that feeling. I can spend a whole weekend in the loft sorting out my wool and material stash...and it always ends up looking worse than when I started. Though to be fair that's probably because I get bored and distracted just at the crucial point lol.
I am very proud of the fact that the craft room is tidy... but very concerned about whether it is physically possible to get all of this stuff back in!
your comment gave me goosebumps! my place is exactly like that!!! I clean one area, and then move on to the next... but it has NEVER been clean all at the SAME time
ugh... I can totally relate to that... I get to a certain point, and then just go 'meh' and find something else to do! bad move... but I seem to keep repeating it...
I just wanted to let u know how much u have inspired me. Crocheting is a big part of my life. My grandmother and mother both did it. They were "crafters" from back in the day. My mother in law also crochets... I have tons of yarn from here and there, mainly because I can NEVER throw anything away. I recycle everything I can. I have been making big balls of yarn of left over pieces and crocheting blankets for years now. Never saw anyone else do it till u! also I wanted to let u know about a project Ive started. Every grocery store or any store around here use plastic bags. Ive been cutting them into strips about 1/2 inch to an inch thick and crocheting bags and purses... I figure if plastic last forever, I would rather it be in something we can get use out of. let me know if you would like some pics of some of my purses! Thanks for breathing some life back into my hobby! I love ur site and look forward to seeing more! Happy crafting
