out of hibernation...

mossy - progress

So this bag is one that I would have made a few years back. Definitely before I started blogging, anyway.

Yes. There was life before blogging!

So it's been in hibernation for quite some time. Again, all it really needs is 'finishing off'... a lining and some embellishment should work nicely.

I'm not all that jazzed about the stripey lines going across the middle. They obviously seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I'm not so sure. Hopefully I will be able to add something to the bag, to draw your eye away from the lines. And how about that colour??? Bit bland for me, isn't it?

Make sure you pop back next friday... for FINISHED OBJECT FRIDAY... to see how it turns out.

And if you don't see it next friday, BOMBARD me with messages demanding to know why it isn't done yet!!!

  1. Looks very "Roxy" style and I love it!!! I think you will find some wonderful fabric to line it with. I am thinking Surf by Michael Miller or one of Amy Butlers fantastic prints!!!

  2. I think a big bright button of some sort on it would fancy it up.

  3. Yes, the colour (or rather, the absence of it) is so uncharacteristic of you. I am really curious to see how you will turn it into something more laughnig-purple-goldfish-like :)

  8. My first thought is to try going over the stripes with a wonderful bright yarn in a surface chain stitch. And a wonderful lining as "L" suggested.
    Looking forward to Friday.
