it's like trying to crochet with a cucumber!

Check this out...

1

It's a 20.0mm hook, so it seemed appropriate to photograph it with a 20 cent coin to give you an indication of it's true size.

This one belongs to Stramenda, a fellow addictee, and 'founder' of the Crochet Lovers Victoria Group on Ravelry. I don't own anything larger than a 10.0mm hook... so I was desperate to have a play with this one! Stramenda warned me that it would be like 'trying to crochet with a cucumber' but that didn't deter me... it just made me wonder if indeed one could crochet with a cucumber. The mind boggles.

I have the hook on loan for a month, and I'm excited to see what I can create using it.

Don't get me wrong, but I think, I LOVE YOU!! I stumbled on your blog when I was on one of my never ending quests to find something simple enough to crochet, as I new to this but very fast becoming an addict. Your bag tutorial caught my eyes immediately and I started a project as soon as I could get my hands on some yarn. Love how I need to be patient enough to 'weave' yet, how beautiful it is turning out to be. Already, I have thought of a few variations that is going to be on my mind for the next few weeks, or until I have made a couple of bags.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
