Well... it is blowing an absolute gale outside, so there's no chance of photographing my latest scarf draped over the fence or a tree! Not that I didn't try.
So I've been driven indoors, and I'm turning to my trusty teddy to help out...
I'm always looking for alternatives to the 'footy scarf'. Such as the boho footy scarf I made a while back. I understand wanting to support your team of choice by wearing their colours, but there's something about the look of those manufactured football scarves, which just makes me want to cry. They're so... I don't know... generic, maybe?
So this is my curlicue scarf worked up in navy and white... for a Geelong supporter. It's a little bit more sophisticated than your usual footy scarf!

Can I just "Awwwwwwwwwww"? =)
Cute model and lovely scarf.
Since it has now started snowing here I think I'll have a go at one of these scarves - just as soon as I've found some wool that isn't "itchy". I've got some lovely mohair but I know neither me nor my daughter would actually wear a scarf made from it because of the itchiness factor. And the Christmas market isn't that far away so perhaps I should have a go at your 1 hour scarves. Thanks for the patterns and the inspiration.
Nice sweaters. I wish I have the time and expertise to produce such lovely garments. And, congrats on Blog of Note.
I am a new knitter and will check your blog out more thoroughly when things slow down for me.
Congrats on being Blog of Note!

Congrats on the blogs of note! I have to say your photos are quite beautiful and are pretty vivid in color. You must be using a nice camera.
I actually really love the way you have laid out the blog.

Oh, thank you for this site! Last winter I learned how to knit and crochet ... this winter I want to graduate from "potholders" to something "real". Thank you for sharing your patterns ... I'm going to try them out ... especially the 3-2-1 curlicue scarf.
Congratulations on being "Blog of Note".

Congrats on Blog of the Day! (That's how I found you.) Your navy and white scarf would also make a fine fashion accessory for Carlton Blues girls like myself :)
shelleyp - actually, given the ratios of navy to white... probably more suited to a blues girl! thanks for stopping by :)
